Small Groups
Small Groups exist to promote healthy, spiritual friendships. As Crossroads grows larger we want to continually grow smaller through our Small Groups to maintain a sense of community.
Each group has its own personality and curriculum. However, Bible study is at the heart of every group.

(full) 1ST Corinthians – 2nd & 4th Thursdays at 7 p.m.
Dig in to the book of 1st Corinthians and learn what God wants us to deal with in the church, in our family, on our jobs and in our personal lives. 1st Corinthians is as relevant today as it was when the Apostle Paul wrote his letter to the church at Corinth.
Apples of Gold – Mondays at 6:30 p.m.
Based on Titus 2:3-5, Apples of Gold teaches six ways to enhance your personal and spiritual lives: kindness, loving your husband, loving your children, submission, purity and hospitality. In addition to studying Scripture, we share ideas for entertaining, table decorating and cooking. We also enjoy a meal together. Class size is limited. Cost: $50.00 for book and your meal every week.
Basics of Christianity – Various Mondays at 6:45 p.m.
Basics of Christianity is a detailed study of the Christian faith that covers the basic teachings of Scripture. Cost: $10 for notebook and Paul Little’s book, “Know Why You Believe.”
Celebrate Recovery – Fridays at 7 p.m.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program for people to share their struggles, addictions, hurts and hopes. No matter who you are or where you’ve been, God’s grace is sufficient. He has a plan for your recovery.
Signing up for CR is not necessary, just join us any Friday at 7 p.m.
Celebration of Discipline – 2nd & 4th Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Celebration of Discipline will challenge your faith and deepen your walk with God. In this small group, you will learn how to discipline yourself in areas such as: prayer, fasting, study and communion.
Christian Caregiving – Sundays at 6 p.m.
This 10-week course created by Dr. Kenneth Haugk, pastor, clinical psychologist and founder of Stephen Ministries, will help equip you to minister to the hurting.
Crucial Conversations for Christians – 2nd & 4th Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Have you ever avoided a tough conversation because you were afraid? Or, maybe you often speak your mind but don’t get the results you want. Crucial Conversations for Christians will focus on a Christian-based mindset and skills to improve your relationships at home and at work by showing you how to have those crucial conversations and get productive, Spirit-driven outcomes.
Dangers of Evolution – 2nd & 4th Sundays at 6 p.m.
Dangers of Evolution will examine the evidence of creation and discuss topics such as Noah’s ark, dinosaurs, comets, the human life span, cavemen and carbon dating among other subjects.
Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy – 2nd & 4th Fridays at 9 a.m.
Study the first 12 chapters of the Book of Daniel in Beth Moore’s study, “Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy.” This 12-week women’s study shows how individuals can live with integrity in today’s self-absorbed society.
Defending the Faith – 2nd & 4th Sundays at 6 p.m.
How reliable is the Bible? Does evidence exist for Jesus outside of the Bible? How do we know the resurrection was an actual event? How do we know God didn’t use evolution to create us? This apologetics study examines the evidence that supports your faith and compares Christianity with other world religions.
Financial Peace University – Mondays at 6:30 p.m.
Based on Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace® University - Building Your Financial Future you will learn how to:
• Make a budget you will understand and actually use
• Get out of debt and stay that way
• Communicate with your spouse about finances
• Invest with confidence
• Change your financial future
Launch Point – 2nd & 4th Mondays at 7 p.m.
Launch Point is for young adults (18 years to late 20s) launching into various aspects of life—college, career, marriage, home ownership and maybe even family. Launch Point will study the Sermon on the Mount during its time together.
Men’s Group – 2nd & 4th Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
The Men’s Group focuses on Biblical ways to maintain your integrity in a world full of compromise while improving your relationship with Christ, family and friends. This year, the Men’s Group will study, “The 10 Questions that Trouble Every Thinking Man.”
The Truth Project
This 13-part study is designed to help Christians develop a Biblical worldview—one that sets us apart, gives us the answers we need and helps us experience life the way God intended.
Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project is Crossroads’ Blue Plate Special with several groups studying the same curriculum.

Together Our Understanding Creates Hope is a fellowship group designed just for the single mom.
When Godly People Do Ungodly Things – Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Join other women for a Beth Moore study titled, “When Godly People Do Ungodly Things.” With 1 Samuel 12:20-25 as a guide, Christians can arm themselves against temptation and learn how to help other fallen believers.
